Welcome to Raised in the Wild: Our Life in the Wilderness (With Kids in Tow)
They said kids and the wild don’t mix but they’ve clearly never seen a toddler light up over a fresh deer track or watched a 10-year-old glass a ridgeline like his life depends on it.
Welcome to Raised in the Wild—where our family lives loud, gets dirty, eats wild, and makes memories in the backcountry one muddy bootprint at a time.
We’re a family of six: four wild kiddos, one brave dad, and one mama (that’s me!) who’s trying to keep everyone fed, alive, and a little feral.
This blog is for anyone who:
• Wants to raise confident kids outdoors
• Loves the idea of hunting, hiking, foraging, and exploring as a family
• Believes that wild game, wild places, and wild memories are the good stuff
We’ll be sharing:
• Our family hunting stories (yes, with babies on our backs)
• Shed hunting tips
• Wild game recipes even picky kids will eat
• Gear recs we actually use
• And what it’s really like to live this lifestyle with little ones
Thanks for being here. Let’s get wild.
